A Mortice Lock is a a lock which is set within the body of a door in a recess or mortise, as opposed to one attached to the door surface.
There are two main types of Mortice Locks: Commercial and Residential.
Commercial Mortice Locks are Heavy Duty, Fire Rated and offer the highest security and most functionality of all locks on the Market. They are generally used in high usage commercial doors for sites such as hospitals, educational facilities, military installations, corrective services and office buildings, however, they are also the perfect solution for residential projects.
Euro profile Mortice Locks are mostly used in residential projects, however, can be used some smaller commercial projects such as shops, offices and restaurants when there no escape regulations.
