What materials are used to make your Door Handles?

Our door handles are made from high grade Stainless Steel and are suitable for internal and external environments. Our range of door handles are either SOLID Stainless Steel or TUBE (hollow) as indicated on our website. Our Solid Stainless Steel range is available in a variety of current and trending designs. The tube range; known as our 'Builders' range offer great value for the budget conscious and are also current 2018/19 designs. Our Timber handles are Victorian Ash and created locally. Vic Ash is a beautiful, sustainable hardwood that is dense, relatively consistent in colour and can be readily stained. All Timber handles are supplied with our reliable, solid, stainless steel fixing system. This fixing system can also be supplied in the finish of your choice.

Is your Door Hardware sold as pairs or individual pieces?

Door Handles on a round or square rose: All Door Handles on a round or square rose are sold as a PAIR – two pieces for 'Back to Back' fitting to your doors. Door Handles on a long backplate: Door Handles on the long back plates are sold as half-sets (single pieces) – fitting to a single side. Entrance Handles: Entrance handles are sold as a PAIR – two pieces for 'Back to Back' fitting to your doors. Sliding Door Flush Pulls: Sliding Door Flush pulls are sold as single pieces – fitting to a single side of the sliding door. Cabinet Knobs & Cabinet Handles/Pulls: All Cabinet Knobs and Cabinet Handles (also known as pulls) are individually priced and sold.

How do I clean my door hardware?

Your stainless steel hardware can be wiped clean with a mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive products or commercial cleaning solutions and always avoid water in lock cylinders. Environmental conditions such as construction cement, dust, salt deposits, acids can potentially cause discolouration to the surface of Stainless Steel Door Hardware. This discolouration is in fact, particles clinging to the surface of Stainless Steel and is known as tea staining. Simply wipe down with a mild soap and water.

Do you supply custom-made products?

Yes, we manufacture on site. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Can I get a sample, just so I'm sure?

Yes, we're happy to provide you with a sample of any stock item. Simply order on-line or contact us to place your order. In the spirit of our 100% Money back Guarantee we will refund you once the samples have been returned. (The goods should be returned unmarked in saleable condition in their boxes with all screws, parts, etc.)

Can I return products if I change my mind?

We are happy to refund or exchange provided the goods are unused and in original packaging. The cost incurred of returning products is the responsibility of the customer. In some cases a Handling Fee for product returns will be charged. Products with a custom finish, made to order, modified or cut to size or specifically ordered cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded.

I'm building/renovating and am not sure what Architectural Hardware I need, can you help?

Yes absolutely! Provide us with a copy of your plans and we will do a complete take off and provide you with a detailed, obligation free quotation for all your door hardware. If you don't have a set of plans, don't worry we'll work with you to determine your exact needs.

Can I make an appointment to meet with your sales and/or design team?

Yes! We can schedule a time to meet with you in our Moorabbin showroom or we'll come to you.

Are your Commercial Mortice Locks Fire rated?

Yes, our Commercial Mortice Locks are fire rated in accordance with Australian Standard AS1905.

Are your door hardware products supplied with screws?

Yes, all products are securely packaged and supplied with all relevant screws.

Do you have installation instructions for your door handles?

Yes, under the 'Download Tab' on each product page on our website. Please refer to our written instructions in pdf format or watch our video for step by step installation in motion.

Can I use existing keys?

In most cases, Yes. Simply provide us with one of your keys and we will securely prepare cylinders which are compatible with your existing keys. This is particularly beneficial for those replacing front door locks.

What type of door can I install your Lever Door Handles on?

Our Door Handles can be fitted to swing doors and pivot doors made from aluminium, steel, wood and solid doors.

How do I know if I need a right or left handed lever door handle?

Firstly stand on the inside of the door. If the door handle is required on the left-hand-side then a 'left hand door internal handle' is required. If you need the door handle fitted on the right hand side of the door, then an internal 'right hand door handle' is required. The other side of the door requires the opposite external door handle.

Are your door hardware prices negotiable?

From time to time, we are able to offer a discount on our list prices. It's worth asking!

Why is there a 52mm round rose and a 65mm round rose?

Our Standard rose is 52mm in diameter. The larger 65mm diameter rose is frequently purchased by renovators and is designed to cover existing holes, patchy paintwork and enable solid fixing by creating new screw holes. Some customers also prefer the look of some of our lever handle designs on the larger 65mm round rose.

Are latches supplied with Door Handles?

Latches are sold separately under the latches and bolt section of our website. This ensures we supply you with the correct latching mechanism.

Are all of your products guaranteed?

Yes, all products are backed by our 5 year guarantee against defects in workmanship and materials.

How long does it take for my door hardware to arrive?

We have a huge range of door hardware In Stock & dispatch is usually within one or two days. Some specialist products take a little longer as specified on the website.

Where do you ship to?

We ship all over Australia and Worldwide. For deliveries within Australia shipping costs are included at checkout. Please contact us for worldwide deliveries.

I would like delivery, how will I know what I'm getting?

Every delivery comes with a comprehensive delivery docket. This delivery docket shows the quantity supplied, product code and product description.
