Escutcheons and roses are the plates that sit behind a door handle or lock cylinder, covering the fixing holes and finishing the installation. They're a small detail, but on a well-specified door they make the difference between hardware that looks considered and hardware that looks like an afterthought. We stock escutcheons and roses from Iver, Tradco, Jolie, Lo & Co, Momo, Windsor, Zanda, and our own Style Finish range.
Cylinder Escutcheons
Cylinder escutcheons cover the euro cylinder on a lockset. We carry them in round, square and rectangular profiles, with euro punch (for euro cylinders) and oval punch (for oval cylinders) options. The Style Finish stainless steel range covers the most common configurations — square 52x52mm, rectangular 50x25mm — in Satin Stainless, Polished Stainless and Black, in both concealed-fix Type A (two-part) and Type B (single-part) versions. The Iver Round and Square Euro and Oval Escutcheons (52mm) are available in ten finishes including Polished Brass, Brushed Gold PVD, Signature Brass, Matt Black, Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome, Distressed Nickel, Polished Nickel and Satin Nickel — making them the most finish-flexible option in the range and a natural match for Iver lever handles.
The Zanda round and square escutcheons (55mm) come in Brushed Nickel, Graphite Nickel, Satin Chrome, Satin Stainless and Black. Lo & Co round escutcheons are available in Aged Brass, Nickel, Bronze, Tumbled Brass, Tumbled Nickel and Black. Momo euro escutcheons come in Bronze, Brushed Satin Brass, Dark Brushed Brass, Dull Brushed Nickel, Dark Bronze, Gun Metal and Matt Black. Windsor offers both slim-line and standard euro escutcheons in finishes like Dark Roman Brass, Roman Brass, Matt Satin Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Natural Bronze — useful for period or American-influenced interiors.
Roses & Adaptor Plates
Roses are the round or square plates used behind lever handles on rose-mounted sets. The Iver Round and Square Blank Roses (52mm) are available in the same ten-finish range as the Iver escutcheons, making it straightforward to match across a door set. The Iver Adaptor Plate Pairs (60x60mm, round and square) are designed to cover existing larger backplates when retrofitting Iver levers — a practical solution on renovation projects where the old hardware left a larger footprint. The Zanda Adaptor Kit (65mm, Brushed Nickel, Black and Graphite Nickel) serves a similar purpose for Zanda lever sets, available in Passage and Privacy configurations.
Cupboard & Decorative Escutcheons
For furniture, cabinetry and period doors, the Tradco range covers the decorative end: the Covered Escutcheon in Polished Brass, Antique Brass and Antique Copper; the Oval Rope Cupboard Escutcheon in Antique Brass; the Pressed Escutcheon in eight finishes including Satin Chrome, Matt Black and Satin Brass; and the Sheet Brass Euro Escutcheon in Polished Brass, Antique Copper, Chrome Plated, Satin Chrome, Antique Brass and Matt Black. The Jolie range — in Aged Bronze, Aged Gold, Black and Old Silver — adds a more artisan, hand-finished quality suited to bespoke joinery and heritage interiors. The Zanda Winchester Round Escutcheon in Vintage Pewter and Rustic Brass is a good match for traditional door furniture.
Most finishes here carry across to our Door Handles and Flush Bolts collections if you're coordinating across a full door set.
